Rice Dinners

Two rice dinners I made in the last week.

Lemon rice with lady’s finger fry and a fried egg

Vegetable Pulao with onion salad

 

Recipes for these were given by my mother, but again there are just a whole galore of them on blogs and websites and you could always tweak them anyway you like to suit your tastebuds. I normally use a rice cooker to cook my rice, but you could also cook it in the microwave or pressure cooker if you are used to it. A rice cooker is just so much handier when you are cooking for a number of guests or a large familyand it also doubles up as a modest serving pot, saving on washing up as well.
